JFX CEO John Falck has worked as a technology and operations executive at multinational firms (UBS; CME) and startups (algorithmic trading firms; secure messaging company Wickr), and has served as board or advisory board member for multiple organizations. John was a founding partner of vSEC, LLC, a pioneering Chicago based cybersecurity company, and since 2024 has been offering cybersecurity advisory services through JFX, LLC, a company he founded in 2013. John leverages his COO and business experience to help clients understand and adopt cybersecurity policies and practices to meet their priorities.
John is a speaker at conferences about cybersecurity and technology topics, and has authored papers such as “Information and Cyber Security for the Futures Industry” (2017) and “How to Hedge Against Cyber Security Risks” (2018) as well as numerous briefing papers including “Top Cybersecurity Threats” (2021, 2022, 2023), “What Does a CISO or Virtual CISO Cost?” (2021, 2022, 2023), and “Phishing and BEC Emails” (2023).
